Aion 2 features five collection systems that can make your character stronger. These five systems are Closet, Wings, Pets, Pantheon, and Titles.
Some bonuses take effect immediately once unlocked, regardless of whether the corresponding item is equipped, while others only work when equipped.
Below, IGGM breaks down how each system works and explains which ones are account-bound and which are character-bound.

Account-Bound Systems
Closet
When you enter Closet, you will see a collection of skins that you have collected and extracted throughout the open world. These skins come from various sources, including monster drops, boss rewards, and quest rewards.
The most important aspect of this system is how it affects your stats. Open the collection book to view all the skins you have collected in the game. The large number at the end of each category indicates the total number of skins available for that equipment slot.
Obtaining a qualifying appearance for the first time adds Collection Points to its corresponding collection category, thereby increasing the relevant stats. You can check how each Collection Point affects the percentage-based stats associated with that equipment category.
Weapon skins contribute to the weapon category, while armor skins improve the defensive stats associated with their respective equipment slots. The necklace and earring categories are related to offensive and defensive stats.
Only your first collection of each eligible appearance grants points. The number of points awarded depends on its rarity:
-
Common: 1
-
Rare: 2
-
Epic: 3
-
Unique: 4
-
Heroic: 5
Pets

Pet system is one of the most important systems in the game because it provides passive stat bonuses across all characters on your account.
As long as you own and level up a pet, you can benefit from its stats even when it is not equipped as your active mount. Pets also serve as mounts. When you are not riding them, they follow your character as small companions.
However, to unlock a pet’s mount functionality, you must first defeat the corresponding monster five times and collect five Souls.
In Pets menu, you can view all the pets you have unlocked. They are divided into five categories, four of which provide stat bonuses:
-
Cogni: HP, Critical Hit, and Might
-
Fera: Accuracy, Dexterity, and ground mount movement speed
-
Natura: Stamina, Critical Hit Resistance, and Precision
-
Varian: Evasion, Constitution, and reduced mount sprint stamina consumption
-
Special: Appearance collection only, with no stat bonuses.
Apart from Special pets, pets in the other categories can be obtained in the open world. Simply locate and defeat the corresponding monster to obtain its Soul.
Special pets are primarily available from the in-game shop, and you can also obtain pets of various types from reward chests, or trade through Brokerage by Aion 2 Kinah for sale.
Pet system also features collection rewards, which display the rewards you receive when reaching certain collection milestones. These rewards include Soul Crystals. Empathy Candy allows players to transform into their own pets.
Genus Insight
Genus Insight is a separate progression system within Pet system. Rather than simply collecting pets to unlock fixed stats, you develop your pets to increase their Genus Insight levels, then use materials to analyze and reroll stats until you obtain more desirable permanent bonuses.
Genus Insight has five categories, each with its own Insight level and stat analysis board.
-
Cogni: Critical Hit and related stats
-
Fera: Accuracy and related stats
-
Natura: Critical Hit Resistance and other stats
-
Varian: Evasion and defensive stats
-
Special: A separate pool of special stat affixes
Each category can reach a maximum Insight level of 10. Players primarily gain Insight EXP by collecting new pets, leveling up their pets, and performing Genus Insight Analysis.
As Genus Insight reaches higher levels, more stat slots gradually become available, and the chances of obtaining higher-quality affixes improve. The first slot unlocks at Level 1, and additional slots become available as the level increases, up to a maximum of nine slots.
In the early game, your only priority should be to raise your Insight levels as high as possible. Once you reach the endgame, you can buy Aion 2 gold to reroll the stats until you obtain the affixes you really want.
Character-Bound Systems
Wings

Each pair of wings has its own Equip Effect and Owned Effect. A wing enhancement system will also be introduced in the future.
By clicking Enhance, you can preview which additional effects will improve with each wing upgrade. Enhancing wings always increases Flight Power and improves one specific stat.
You can collect wings through main quests, dungeons, the in-game shop, gathering, and treasure chests. As with pets, wings with a rarity tier generally provide both Equip Effects and Owned Effects.
Pantheon
Pantheon in Aion 2 is a character progression system centered on collecting and displaying items. Players can collect Colossus, Statues, and Artworks, then place them in their corresponding Pantheon slots to gain additional permanent stat bonuses.
Pantheon has 17 display slots divided into three types. Each collectible can only be placed in a slot of the corresponding type, and its associated stat bonuses only take effect once it has been placed in the appropriate slot.
Titles
Like Wings and Pets, Titles system features both Equip Effects and Owned Effects. Each character can equip three titles simultaneously, corresponding to Attack, Defense, and Other slots. However, not every title provides stat bonuses. Some leaderboard titles are primarily intended to showcase achievements.
Titles system works similarly to the achievement system. You simply need to meet certain requirements to unlock titles. Titles also have a quality system, with gold titles ranking the highest and providing the best stat bonuses.
IGGM recommends that you avoid focusing on these systems too much in the early game, as progressing through any of them requires a large amount of kinah. You can revisit them after reaching the level cap, especially if you find that your damage is insufficient when running dungeons.
